Arrival Story:
OMG!!! Cody almost died. It was really a close call for him. The day he found our rescue, was supposed to be his last day. Now he has a second chance! The shelter staff was GREAT and the awesome gentleman that transported him..these people helped to save his life!

Bio:
Cody still has his puppy "wool"! FRIENDLIEST Chow you will ever meet!!!! Gorgeous shaded pup! I can't imagine why he would wind up at a shelter? He is no doubt the pup of an "accidental" or "backyard" breeder. His left ear has not stood up all of the way. It may be because it just never was able to or because of an injury. His tongue is also not fully purple, but he is 100% Chow Chow. The tongue coloration is also considered a "fault" by AKC standards, but it can happen when Chows are bred in this manner and makes him no less beautiful, in fact it makes him more unique! As soon as you meet Cody you will fall in love with him. He is one of the cutest and most loveable Chows I have met! All time favorite past time- car rides and cuddling-yes a cuddling Chow Chow! Look at his video, so you can see him in action! He does get along with other dogs. Cats and kids we do not know about, so we will say "no" for now.
