SAMMIE HAS FOUND A HOME! HER NAME IS NOW PIPER AND SHE LIVES WITH TWO OTHER CANINE CRITTERS WHO DON'T PICK ON HER! Sammie came from the Olive Branch Mississippi Humane Society. They are severely overcrowded as are we all and Sammie, her sister and mother - a pure bred Rottweiler - needed help. I could only take one, so I chose a puppy. Believe me, I wish I could have taken them all. Sammie is a bouncy happy pup. Always in motion, she rarely slows down! She is still in training - she crates well at night, tho. Slowly, she is learning some basic manners, such as sit and wait.
Bio:
Because I, too, am over crowded, Sammie is having a tough time here. She is the low dog on the pecking order, thus the others want to pick on her. Sammie now has to stay in her kennel and can only be outside when I can supervise and put her out only with certain dogs. Sammie won't get extremely large - I'd say, tops, 50 to 55#.
