A Buddy's Life

I don't know what happened to my nice life! There was a very nice puppy on the other side of the fence one minute and the next, he was coming in the house and he hasn't left since!

I was very annoyed and wouldn't talk or look at or let him touch me for a few days but he kept trying to climb all over me, no matter what I did. I tried to growl him away and snap him away and gosh darn it, he just kept coming back.

He's been here a while now and I decided I like him. We play and play and he follows me. I'm not so pleased when he steals my toy, but I can get it back.

When he gets really annoying, I gather him under me and sit on him!! Mama laughs, even though she tries not to let us see her do it. If that doesn't work, I lay down on him and mama says all you can see is my skirt flying up and little legs darting out. She doesn't understand, but its a worthy control method....the little one settles right down. I like it!

He sleeps downstairs in the crate, sometimes I sneak down and lay across from him in my basket. mama comes down in the morning and gives me love and scritches and then lets us both outside.

I think I like having a new little brother. He is fun.

I'm a Little Bored.....

Gosh, mama's been sick for 3 weeks now, I've only been to day school two times in 3 weeks. She tries to play with me, but doesn't seem to have much energy so I stop playing and she starts coughing and wheezing. I try to be a good boy and keep close to her. But man, am I getting bored!!! Mama takes me out for short car rides to get medicine and that's fun.

The good news is that that white stuff is falling from the sky again so maybe there will be enough of it to play in! Hope so, I can run around and throw it and maybe mama will feel good enough to come throw those lovely balls for me, wouldn't that be wonderful??? Oh yes, I think so too :-).

Well, best be getting back to the window.....gotta watch the neighborhood!

SNOW!!!!! WOO HOOOO!

ohmygosh! the cold white stuff is back....glorious....i can run and jump and it flies up in the air, oh and tunneling is sooooo much fun. Look mama, i can fill my nose with it. Oh I forgot how much fun this was! What? you say we are expecting a nor'easter this weekend? Lots and lots of this fun stuff on the way. Oh be still my heart. fun.fun.fun. Will you make those round things like my ball and throw them for me again and again? Will you huh? Oh yes please! I can't wait. Well, I will let you know how much fun we have when we have it. bye for now.
