They had always bred daogs, (which I grew up with and loved!) and now they were breding Boykin spaniels. e spent time with their pack and decided we wanted on the list....which was almost two years out for us!
So when Jackson's mother 'Leah' was pregnant, we were so excited! The puppies were born (her first litter) and only 2 ended up making it. They and we were so sad for Miss Leah. We were fourth on the list so that meant no puppy for us this time either.
We came to terms with it and had it set in our minds that there would be no puppy for us this time.
We got a call from Miss Leah's family and they said that the male puppy was ours! We were so excited! We got our puppy!
We brought him home on April Fools day. What an adorable little guy.
From that day in Jackson has captured my heart and I have now dubbed him "My canine soulmate"
