Arrival Story:
I stepped outside one day and there was a beatiful bloodhound. He was hungry and I didn't have anything to feed him because he was my first dog. My friend had some dog treats that they gave us later and I gave him some dog treats. He was so friendly and loving. My dad loved him too, and so did my mom. So we ended up keeping him. At first, his name was Ol Red, but I changed it to Rebel. A month later, he ran away for a couple of days but then came back. My dad didn't want him running off, so we put him on a chain. Later, he looked at the poor dog and said "I can't keep him on a chain!" and he took the chain off of him. We went of vacation and out neighbors watched our dog for us. When we got back, she said his eal owners came by the house and said "Come on dog!" and Rebel jumped in the truck. Later on, he told out other neighbors to tell us thanks for taking care of him. Later on, Rebel got in to something. His owner took him to the vet and she gave Rebel some medicine and Rebel was fine for 3 days. But later, when his owner got home the third day, rebel was dead. We all loved Rebel so much and it really hurt us. We love you and miss you Rebel!
