Jax is in his teething stage and currently LOVES my tennis shoes... we're working on that.
Pet-Peeves:
Jax doesn't like being in his crate after six a.m. No matter what time he goes to bed, six a.m. rolls around and he's up and ready to go!
Favorite Toy:
Jax's favorite toy is his kong, as long as it's stuffed right and frozen (leaving it in the freezer helps with teething).
Favorite Food:
Jax is fed Purina's puppy chow (large breed formula), but he'd really rather I gave him the cat's food.
Favorite Walk:
Jax loves being taken to Hines Drive, or his evening walk up to Speedway.
Best Tricks:
Jax just learned to "sit" when told. I'm so proud of him!
Arrival Story:
After buying our first house, my fiance and I decided it was time for a baby, so we looked on Craiglist for the longest time, and eventually we found Jax (he was then called "Bo"), an eight week old black lab mix boy. I had labs growing up, and without hesitation knew he was my boy. I e-mailed the lady giving him away, spoke on the phone a few times, and eventually drove almost an hour to go out and pick him up. He is now living "the life" with his new Mommy and Daddy, and neither we nor he could be any happier!
