Arrival Story:
While out walking our neighborhood with our dog Sparky (passed away Aug 2009) we saw a handwritten sign advertising a Transylvanian Hound puppy for sale. Not being aware of the breed, my husband looked it up when we got home. When he discovered how rare they are, we had to go back the next day to find out the puppy's story. We never did learn her parentage, but couldn't help but bring her home. She was only 10 1/2 weeks old and had already been in a couple different homes, including moving to a new home with the people we got her from. It took a couple of months with Mr. Sparky Dog and lots of attention from her human family to really calm her down.
Some place along the line, she learned her manners and earned the nickname "Angel Hannah", and she really is!
