Bio:
Max came to live with us in November of 1995. He was such a great dog from the start! We enjoyed 12 years with him until his little body just couldn't go on. He was diagnosed with diabetes when he was nine years old and was insulin resistant. That meant that his insulin injections helped to control his sugars somewhat but not much. He lost his sight and developed kidney and liver problems. It was such a painful decision to let him go but I know that he is now healthy and happy again!
