Leave a bone for Stretch (1995-2004)

Sun Sign: Quick Bio:
 Birthday: March 21st 1995
Likes: Attention. From anyone. All the time. And cheese.

Pet-Peeves: People who move around in their sleep, flies.

Favorite Toy: Stuffed duck

Favorite Food: Any soft treat, burritos

Favorite Walk: Hopkinton State Park

Best Tricks: Talking -- Roo, Roo, Roo

Arrival Story: He had far too much personality and had been waiting nearly two years after the end of his racing career for his "forever home". I brought him home as a foster not long after we lost my husband's first greyhound, Lucky, to bone cancer. My husband and I both fell in love with the blockhead.

Bio: Rancho Stretch raced at Taunton/Raynham track in Massachusetts. Loves long, clockwise sprints and getting out of fenced yards. Has bone cancer, and is now a "three-quarters greyhound", but isn't handicapped by losing a leg. Pupdate: 10/07/2004 -- Stretch went painlessly and easily to the Rainbow Bridge in the tender loving arms of his mom, dad, and veterinarian.
