All is GOOD in Emma's world

..... a little about me

My name is Emma! As soon as I saw my Mom & Dad coming - I knew they were the ones for me. They looked like the type that would give me everything I ever wanted - and I was right! hehehe

On their first visit I escaped outta my pen and hopped my way up to them. I looked up at them with my little blue eyes and my big floppy ears and showed the little whites at the bottom of my eyes.... oh and I couldn't help but do a little piddle for them too! hehehe

My Mama saw me and picked me up and after that she was my favoritist human in the whole Emma world! I had to wait a couple weeks before they came back to get me - but when they did - my Mama wouldn't let go of me! All she wanted to do was cuddle and hold me. Finally she figured out that I wanted to explore my new world. I was gonna live in this real nice condo place. That's what my folks call it anyway. I gotta a real nice couch and lots of Emma-beds. There's one in every room! I get to sleep in Mama & Daddy's bed though and I sleep on a pillow right above my Mama's head so I can protect her in the night-time. The bestest part about where i lives is that they take me outside whenever I gotta do some business. We live beside this thing called a ravine and there are all kinds of trails and paths to walk on. When I go out for my walks I get to check all my pee-mail. Let me tell ya - I sure do get a lot!!! I gotta stop and smell all my messages!

When I was a little girl - I had the most incredible blue eyes. All the peoples would stop and smile and think I was real pretty. As I got older my eyes changed color to a pretty brown - but the peoples we see still stop and want to pet me and tell me how pretty I am.

My Mom goes to work everyday - but my Daddy stays home with me cause he's retired and I figure it's my job to keep him company. Sometimes he has seizures - but I always try and let him know by whining lots when those are gonna happen - just in case he doesn't know.

Every day around 5:00, I get perched up on my couch and wait for my Mama to come home. I get real excited when I see her - but I've learned not to do that piddle thing now. Every night we have our special routine and we all eat together and then I get a pig-ear! Ohhhhhhhh...... I LOVE my pig-ears!!! I sit with my Mama while she reads or types on that keyboard thingy and I eat my bone. I love my Mama-time!

I'm not a real morning dog - but I faithfully get up when Mama wakes up and she gets ready to go to that thing she calls work. When she does her hair, I sit down and groom myself too. Us ladies gotta look good - right?? Whenever I get combed or groomed, I go straight to the mirror to see how I look.

On some days - when my Daddy has appointments - I get to go to this place called Doggie Daycare! Oh my - that is one of my favorite places! I have all kinds of friends there and we run and play all day! I've never been left alone at home...... so this works for me in my Emma world! I'm kinda like one of those human babies.... or at least I have them thinkin' I am! hehe

Sometimes I get to go to my boyfriend - Rudy's house. He's an older man - but only by a month or so. He's a black Cocker Spaniel and we sure do have fun together! He's pretty darn handsome... Hmmmmm..... I think I gotta remind my Mama it's time for another visit! I miss my Rudy!

My all time favorite place to go is my Grandma & Grandpa's house. Oh boy - my Grandpa sure likes me! We always have fun together and he gives me great tummy-rubs and we go outside and he let's me run without a leash!!! He's tried forever to teach me how to shake a paw.... but I know how to do it - I'm just not gonna show him.... I'm just entertained watching him do this! hehehe My Grandma loves me too cause I remind her of the Ginger doggie they had when my Mama was growing up. My Grandpa & Grandma wear me out and I'm always tired when I come home from their place!

I enjoy my walks with my Dad in the day - but my favoritist part of the day is when we're all together. Whether we're just hangin' out at home, goin' for walks or car-rides.... I'm the happiest when we is all together.

I love my family..... and they love being part of my Emma-world! :o)
