Arrival Story:
He was being fostered by the acquaintance of a friend of ours and the friend brought him over to meet us. We fell in love with him (how could we not?) and decided to let him adopt us. We had to convince the shelter in Washington DC to give him to us instead of another family that already applied to adopt him. We won!
Bio:
Max is our only child and we spoil him as such. Max's father claims that we have to because he was in a shelter, so we need to make up for that! When we adopted Max he was already one or two years old and we weren't really sure what we were in for. Would he be destructive? Friendly? A people person? He turned out to be the best little boy in the world. His love is unconditional, and each day he brings more joy to us then we ever could have hoped for.
