The Busiest Day EVER!!!

My sister Midge and I spent most of Thursday and Friday away from our mommas (They went to the Abraham Lincoln Library and Museaum for Momma "B"'s birthday). We were not too happy with the situation. So, Momma "A" and Momma "B" decided to take us for ride to see the house that Pam (our family friend) was selling. We rode... and rode... and rode... until I had just had it! My sister Midge can go in the car for 24 hours. I just like a little ride in town and then I am done. I... did not enjoy the long ride... the country air... or the heat. It just felt like "ick"! Now, I am at home resting, and I have a big smile on my face.

Great day at the Park... and then we went home!!!

My sister Midge and I were at the dog park today, and we met a Yorkie named "Harley" (spelling???). We played very nicely with him. I even ignored him when he was trying to the 4-1-1... if you know what I mean. All was well, then we had to go home. The new next door neighbor came over with her dog. All I have to say is... Midge and I did not behave very well. I promised Momma A that we would be better the next time, but will there be a next time?

It's almost EASTER!!!

Mom had to have a talk with me, because... I can't take over the house at Easter! I want to run around and cause havoc. However, I must be on my best behavior. I will actually have to spend some time in the bedroom to "cool my jets". If I am calm... I will get to spend some time with our people. Well, that's life. I hope everyone has a GREAT SPRING.

I seemed to have picked up this little "bug" from my sister Midge. I guess I should have given her space when she was sick. It does seem like I am on the road to recovery. Midge, Momma "A", and myself went to the dog park. I just felt like "ick". I did get one good run in, and I chased Midgie around a couple times. Now... seeing Midgie run... that is funny!

This will be short and sweet, but Momma A told me that we will not be getting "Nate". Nate (aka Teddy a beautiful schnoodle) will be adopting another family. So... Momma A says we keep looking for another buddy for me. I say... I know I have a brother out there waiting to be part of our family.

Midge, the mommas, and I went to Grandpa's over the weekend. We rode in the car, we had snacks, we sniffed the outdoors, and when we came home... we were pooped! I think that says it all!!!

Midge and I got new red sweatshirts for Christmas! I tolerate mine, and my sister loves hers. I wear it out of... how would you say... necessity. I preferred the toys to the clothes... and Midge preferred the clothes to the toys! I love her and my moms, but I can't always figure Midge out? Until later...

I told Mom from now on "I" will be writing all the entries! The other day, I was bored and I found Mom"s rose tinted non-toxic chapstick. I began gnawing on it, before Mom could get to me. When Mom found me, I smiled a big "red" Bichon smile. Nobody got hurt... but the chapstick.

My arrival at Woodland Place...

Pearl came to live with Midge and the gang the second week of June 2008. Pearl's sister Midge was not thrilled to meet her. Midge was going through a difficult time. Midge had lost her big sister "Greta" the month before. The biggest challenge was over the food bowl. Once Midge realized that she was not going to miss out on any meals... all was well!
