Arrival Story:
Our beloved shar-pei died at age 10 very unexpectantly. Our hearts were broken until we found our new shar-pei, Lily. She is a "flowered" (which are actually spots or patches of different colored parts of the coat) shar-pei. She is mostly white with a few brown flower spots so I came up with the name of Lily (a flower) White (her color) Heaven Scent (she was sent from heaven and has a heavenly scent). She is the best dog ever and the love of our lives and hearts.

Bio:
Lily loves everyone and every other dog. She is very friendly and loves to play with her doggie friends at the park. We are very proud of her especially when someone sees her and tells us what a beautiful dog she is. Lily just wags her tail and we just beam with pride.

Forums Motto:
Silly Lily

Lily was so in love with her cousin Riley that they decided to get married. Lily and Riley were united in "holy puppermony" on August 2, 2008. Both the bride and groom recited their bow-wow vows in their beautiful and handsome wedding attire. They pledged their true love to each other with several human witnesses in attendance. Baxter served as the doggie ringbearer.

Forever in our Hearts

Our most precious Lily succumbed to the devastating disease of renal failure and crossed the rainbow bridge into heaven on January 27, 2010 in Brandon Florida. She was so very brave throughout her illness and never quit wagging her tail or giving us kisses even after not eating for 10 days and suffering four grand mal seizures. She even wagged her tail when the doctor put the medicine in her arm to stop her heart. She was the best dog in the world and she will always be in our hearts. She was sent from God when we needed her the most. She helped us through the grief of losing our human son in a car accident. Lily was truly like our daughter and we know that our son would have loved her as much as we did. Now they are both walking the golden streets and singing with the angels.

Lily,
You will forever be in our hearts. We will never forget you and all that you did for us.

Love,
Mommy and Daddy
