Attention!! She loves people and kids. She often followed the kids around the yard, and when her legs wouldn't allow her to do that anymore she'd watch them from under our big tree.

Pet-Peeves:
Her legs not working the way she wanted them too.

Favorite Toy:
My 2 boys.

Favorite Food:
carrots and apples

Favorite Walk:
She loved being out back in our yard w/ the kids more than anything.

Best Tricks:
Making anyone who met her fall absolutely in love w/ her.

Arrival Story:
I own Sophie's mother Abby and a couple days before going in to be spayed Abby started showing her pregnancy (which no one knew she was Pregnant including the vets who'd just examined her). She gave birth to 5 pups all of which went to loving homes w/ family and friends, Except Sophie and Indie her brother. We had plans of keeping Indie from the start but Sophie we could never find the right home for. Which I was happy for because she and I had formed quite a bond. She was given the name Sophie by my then 4 y/o son, who had instantly fallen in love w/ her. At the start of Sept 08 Sophie started to display some odd symptoms, gradually getting worse as the days went on, 3 vets were dumbfounded on what could be wrong w/ her. The 4th Vet she visited told us the devastating news that she had cerebellar abiotrophy. And even worse news is that we soon discovered her brother Indie had also had the condition. Indie is starting to display signs right now but is overall still happy and is still able to do everyday doggy things. Sophie sadly isn't doing so good and the only humane thing we can do for right now is to put her to sleep, as there is no cure for her. Her other 3 siblings are showing no signs of the condition right now.

Bio:
I feel as though we were blessed to have both these pups in our lives. Though cut short their lives have been very happy. Two of the best personalities I have ever come across in a dog. Like old souls from day one. I've learned so much from them and will treasure our time together for the rest of my life.
