Arrival Story: One of the founders of the animal rescue group I volunteer for called me out of desperation (because she knew I didn't want to foster dogs anymore). She said she'd had a dream about a dog a couple nights prior to seeing a dog, just like the one in her dream, running loose on the streets. She got him into her car and safely to her home. Her plan was to take him to the county animal shelter the next day so that he could do his "stray time." Within hours of being at her home, he had dug his way out of her backyard and was gone. She worried about him all night and as she went to leave the next morning, there he was in her front yard. When his time was up at the county shelter she didn't have a foster home for him, so she called me. He came to live with me and my dogs on 8/22/08 and he's actually been a very good little guy. He loves to play with my Chihuahua, Squiggy, and when he's done with that he comes and cuddles under a blanket with me while I watch tv.
