Me, A Frisbee Dog??

Mom played with the frisbee with me tonight!! She found a really nice little one that's just my size! I don't know how to catch it in flight, but Mom found this video on how to teach a dog to catch a frisbee... one of the exercises the human can do is to roll it along the floor or ground on it's side. I was able to catch it most of the time that way. But then of course, I didn't want to give it back... It's really fun to chew on. All in all, Mom was happy with our first frisbee session. I had a blast too! I can't wait until we do it again!

Walkies

I went for my very first real walk today!! It was wonderful. We went on this bike path. It was really pretty with bunnies and birdies and deers. We went with Mom and her friend and her friend's Corgi named Teddy. I had never met Teddy before but we got along really well! We walked side by side the whole time! Mom was SO proud of me. I hardly pulled on the leash at all and mostly just walked right by her side. We walked for 45 minutes. She thought I would be completely wore out but I came home and was ready to play! Maggie and Jake knew I had been someplace fun because they could smell it all over me, and smell me all over they did! My goodness. Anyway, it was really fun. Mom had a good time too. I can't wait till we get to do it again! One thing is for sure... Mom is going to sleep good tonight! BOL

It's been awhile

Well pups it's been awhile since I've written anything. Truthfully there hasn't been much to write. I keep waiting for the weather to warm up. It is STILL cold!! The sun shined for 5 minutes only today. It snowed yesterday and it is still here today. I am NOT a Wyoming dog! I keep begging Mom and Dad to move. I hear California is warm...

Anyway, weather aside, I have been keeping busy. Many of you know I have a new brother - Jake. He's a Lab/Border Collie mix, but mom thinks there might be something else in there too. He's going to be a big boy. Meanwhile, he likes to take my toys. I've already been through that with Maggie. I am not going through it again. I am quite clear with him that he cannot take what I am playing with.

I must admit, it has been nice having someone else to play with. Maggie doesn't always like to play. She doesn't really like to cuddle either and Jake cuddles with me sometimes. I love to cuddle!

Well, I had hoped to be able to write more, but Mom says we have things to do today so I gotta get going.

I'm a rock climber!!

Today was so fun! Mom and Dad took us to this school playground. I got to run and run. I had to be on the leash though so mom had to run with me. I think she might have actually enjoyed it. Gramma and Grandpa were there too. They'ld throw a ball and mom would have to run with me so I could go get it. The yard was HUGE! It was wonderful. Mom and Dad swung, played teatherball and Dad played on the junglegym. Maggie even played on the junglegym, but those stairs were too big for me. I did climb on the rock thing a little bit. It was fun.
It was so nice today. Tomorrow we are supposed to get a minimum of 8" of snow!!! It was in the 70's today! There is a winter storm warning. Hopefully it's not too bad. I'm not a blizzard kind of doggie! I guess if it snows I'll have the good memories from today. That will hold me over until we can go do it again.
One thing is for sure... Tonight I will sleep SO good! ZZZZZzzzzzzzzz

I guess I didn't run fast enough...

I am supposed to think of SEVEN THINGS about myself, and then I am to write them down in a list. Next I am to choose SEVEN friends to tag who are supposed to list SEVEN of THEIR interesting things about themselves and tag SEVEN more friends.

Here's my 7 things

1. I just found my voice. I excitedly announce the presence of everyone and everything that goes by. I find my parents are not very excited about this. Don't they understand I'm just trying to be helpful?

2. I love to cuddle and be buried in blankets. I was sleeping in bed with mom one night. She finally let me.. Anyway, she said I could stay until Dad came to bed. I buried myself way down under the covers as far as I could go. After about an hour I couldn't breathe and started gasping for air. It woke Mom and scared her half to death. Now she watches me very closely. She will only let me be buried under a blanket if it's a thin blanket that air can still get through.

3. I ate one of Dad's shoes. I quickly lost interest in chewing on random things...

4. I don't like grapes. Which is good because mom found out they are bad for me anyway.

5. I do like onions, but Mom won't let me have any because they too, are bad for me.

6. Mom says I'm a good dog. She says I am easy to train. Of course I am easy! I just want to make Mom and Dad happy. I don't ALWAYS listen, but I try really really hard. I do listen ALMOST always though even when I don't want to. Now that I have Maggie to play with sometimes I am more distracted. I was an only dog for awhile and I really like having someone to play with every day.

7. Mmmmm... There isn't much else to tell. Mom and Dad do watch me to make sure I don't get into trouble or get something in my mouth I shouldn't have. I'm still young yet. There are many years ahead for making fun stories, good memories and causing the occasional ruckus.

TAG! You're IT!

I'm famous!!

I'm famous I'm famous! Mom sent a picture of me to cuteoverload.com months ago. She was so excited because I was her first dog ever and she thought I was the cutest. She sent a picture of me at 7 weeks old, using my favorite toy as a pillow. Months went by and finally yesterday the picture showed up on their site! Mom didn't even see me!!! Dad was standing over her shoulder as mom was trying to look up something else online. He is the one that noticed I was there. He was so excited! He didn't even know that mom had sent my picture in. I'm so glad he saw it! The whole family is so happy. Well, I don't think my new sister Maggie could care less, but maybe someday she can be on there too. She is pretty cute. She's not as cute as me, but I guess she's pretty cute. Don't tell anyone I said so. I am the King of this castle and no one, not even Maggie is going to take that away from me.
