We visited Woodford Humane and met so many sweeties, but this 40 pound Aussie Mix stole our hearts so we adopted her in '01.
It was Christmas Eve when we adopted her. The holiday classic "It's a Wonderful Life" helped get her name... George reached in his pocket and found ZuZu's petals... and that's how ZuZu got her name. Bio: ZuZu wasn't a Beagle, but, man, was she special!
She gave us so much love while she was with us! And so smart, too! She was smart in a different way from Beagle smart... she looked out for us. She let us know when a stranger was near (or when a leaf blew down the road...) Anything near our home, ZuZu was our best friends and protector.
