Arrival Story:
I was bron on a farm in Idaho. When I was old enough to leave my mom and start a life for myself some people came and got me. I started digging holes for them and tearing things up so they would have something to do when they came home. I also watched the house and yard for them too. I even got to bite people doing it, it was fun barking and biting everyone. Well one day the people took me on a trip to a new place. It had lots of other dogs that were barking and saying some real mean things. They kept saying that I was coming there to die. I knew that couldn't be true cause my people loved all the things I did for them and me. Boy was I wrong, they left me there and never came back. THe people at this place were nice but were very sad too. I heard them say that I was goin to have to be put to sleep. I didn't know what that ment but it didn't sound good. Well about a week after I got there some people came and looked at me. I was so happy that I just wiggled and wiggled all around them. I even talked to them and sang for them too. One lady said that it was my last day there an dthat the next day I was to be euthanised. The other ladys walked around and looked at the other dogs that were there but came back to me before they left. One lady asked me if I wanted to come away from there and I yelled "YES". And they did they took me to a home with some other dogs and told me they would try to find me a forever home the next day. They took my picture and gave me a bath and brushed me too. It felt so good to be there and away from that bad place. The next day I went to a big store with lots of other dogs and even more people. I just watched everyone go by and just waited my turn for a new family to come get me. That's were my new mom comes in. She nelt down beside me and I looked up into her eyes and aske her to take me home. Know what she said? She said " You don't have to convince me, he's the one who needs the convincing" And she pointed to a man standing next to her. When he nelt down to say hi I just sat right down between his legs and sighed and looked into his eyes and whispered "please". They asked if they could take me for a walk and they did. She asked him please and he said yes. THey took me home that day to a house with a cool yard and three kids! It was great, I had someone to play with! My new mom started teaching me to do some realy cool things like sit, stay, down, come and to get it. She even bought me balls to play with! She told me that she would teach me how to play Flyball some day because I loved balls so much. I would push them around the yard and throw them up in the air and even give them to my new mom and dad so they could throw them farther and I could run. Oh it was so fun. I even taught the kids how to play with the ball too. I do so love my family, even that pesky little brother of mine too.

Today(11/22/04) mom took me to a new place. Cocoa, a Lab from my Flyball team, said that it was were her mommy worked. She said she gets to play in the field we were in whenever she gets to come to work.
We were there to show people how to play Flyball.
Mom said I did real good. I jumped over the jumps real good and never dropped the ball. I almost ran into Rudy, the Boston Terrier on our team, because his dad told him to run to soon, but I ran out of the way so we didn't run into each other. It was a close one.
It was lots of fun to run in the cool grass and to show off to all the people that were there to watch.
