3 years..

Hard to beleive that baron will be 3 years old in just a few short days. Our family can't even remember what life was like without him... he is deffinatly a big part of our family.

I COUGHT A BUNNY!!!! and got treats!

Oh my goodness, I did i really did!!! and why mom was so upset i don't have a clue! BOL!!!
Just now I brought her a gift to the Patio Door. I wanted in see so that i could enjoy! And MOM SCREAMED!!!! really she did...
But then she came out (the Garage door) with the treat Jar for me. (Yippie) I just set that bunny right down and got that biscut, following her in the garage for more and then into the house for even more!!! HOW NICE!!!

Well then mom ran out the garage while i was finishing up the PILE of TREATS she had given me (she musta bumped her head and forgot that she alraedy gave me treats) BOL.
I went out later to find my bunny again but he had moved from where i set him down. OH I WAS HOPPING MAD!!! and i have searched all over my yard for it... and can't find it at all. HUMPH!!!

(little does Baron know that while he ate the treats in the house, Mom went out with 2 Bags and scooped the Bunny up and disposed of said "Dead Bunny" appropriatly, and yes He got his teeth brushed promptly!!!)

Fall is HERE!!!

ok, technically it is not fall quite yet. But the leaves are starting to fall of the trees and that means 2 things!
1. the squirrles are running crazy and collecting their nuts. While driveing me nuts because i can't catch them...or Mommy won't let me catch them, is more like it.
2. the second is.. Leaves fall and then they stick to my BUTT!!!

ok i like it when the leaves fall but the butt sicking portion of the formula is not to apealing to me. It scares me and i freez right there on the spot (this interfears with my walkie, big time). Then mom has to come and pull the leaves off my butt (so humiliating!)

So dad is primeing up the leaf sucker upper, so as that the pesky leaves can be sucked up as they fall daily, so as not to interfear with my Yard oughtings. (OK who has who trained here!)

Now my question is, Do You Think tht that LEAF sucker UPPER could be set to Turbo and catch me a squirrel?

Off to GREECE!!!

Here i go off to see my friend Sedonna in Greece. This is a big suprise to me! As she did not tell me where i was going to meet up with her.
Mommy was ecited to hear it was greece we were going to, cuz when she was a little girl (High school age) she had a pen pal in Greece (Thessaloniki) and they spent lots of time writeing and talking on the phone. Now she wonders what eever happend to that young man, maybe i will try to look him up fur her!

I wonder what suprises we will find In Greece! and just look at my wonderful Plane and the cool car we are driving!

Today I am 1 year old!

Today is my Birthday, i am 1 year old. When mommy awoke this morning she said "Happy Birthday Baron! How is it to be a big doggie?" Well i really don't know cuz i am still just little.

Then my boy Jacob got up and said the same thing! and patted my head.
My boy Andy has been sick the past 2 days, and hasn't done much of anything at all. But he said happy birthday too!

Daddy was already gone!

But then mommy pulled out this mig treat for me.... and i want it sooo bad!!!! I kept licking it when she was truing to take my picture wif it... it is a carob bunt cake. She got it at my favorite store. Waggy tail treats. They have some very good treats.

I really don't know what it is like to be older yet. I will write more later...

My heart is wif u!

tonight is the very first time i have ever been seperated from my whole family.... at bed time! I wonder how they are doing? I really wonder how Mommy is? Is she gonna be able to sleep wifout me on her leggs, or not chewing my bully stick on her pillow in the middle of the night?

I am staying at the neighbors house wif my pup friend Eddie and his Blue bouncey ball. They are very nice but i can see my house and yard from the window. The house looks lonely.

I wonder how mama is doing, wifout me by her side... is she as lonely as me? Am i even really lonley?

Da Pony or NOT Da Poney!

Mommy seems to be haveing a real delimma.
She says i am going to the trimmers tomarrow morning, for a new haircut! She says it is gonna be shorter, fur the summer. She also says that i may come back wifout my Pony!!! That is her delimma. She has to make up her mind by 8 am tomarrow morning if i am gonna come home wif my pony or not. Daddy seems to think it is time ro see my eyes again, and he saw a little shih tzu Named Emmy who was all clean cut and finks that i should be too.. and although mommy finks it would be nice to have the body cut shorter fur summer cuz we go camping. She just can't quite seem to decide on the pony!
The Pony has been wif us fur a long time. at least fur the last 5 almost 6 months, and I have 5 Beautiful bows! and it is just starting to get long enough to but the eyebrows in da Pony. (still a tiny bit short so they don't stay in long.)
Da Pony is sorta what seperates my puppy status from da big doggies! And mommy says it makes me look kinda distinguished, (well not smarty distinguished but more likr reagel).
But also if i get my body hair cut short am i gonna look funny wif da long hair on top of da head? If it is not in da poney mommy saus i look like one of da Beatels... BOL.
It's a tough desision to make, it took a while for mommy to decide to cut the long full coat i had grown since puppyhood, but she did it and was glad she did once the snow melted and the mud came. and i found it! hee hee.
I guess we will just have to waite until tomarrow to see if I have Da Pony when i am done.... I know she will descide at the last min what to do.

CGC Not this time!

It has been a while since i have wrote, but not because we havn't been peeking in on Dogster. We Have! WE have been AWAL because we have been so busy fighting Floods, getting tax records ready and takeing classes, to be ready for my CGC citizen test!
All wimter we have been takeing classes. such as different levals or obedience. And we have worked very hard. For a 10 1/2 month old puppy, my teachers and mommy are very impwessed!

Lat night 4/23 i took a CGC test.. That's Canine Good Citizen. And although i very well could have and probably should have passesd, I didn't. I got 8 out of 10 of the criteria.... and the criteria i failed were ones that i was just being a silly puppy, or just plain stubborun about.
Below are the criteria one has to pass and listed as if i passes or failed them. (and maybe a little explanation as to what may have happend).

1. Accepts a friendly stranger. Passed

2. Sitting pollitly for petting. Failed ( the instructor nelt down and i just get a little excited, nothing bad, i didn't jump but i did put my paws on her leg after she started petting me.... big no no... i should have kept all four on the floor. Mommy forgots to say Off and sit fast enough to help remind me)

3. Apperance and grooming. Passed (this is so easy now cuz i love my les pooch brush)

4. Out for a walk . Passed

5. Walking through a crowd. Passed

6. Sit and Down. on command/ staying in place. Failed (I did everything great.. i stayed when i sat, and when mommy came back to me, but when i was suposed to go down.... I had a stubborun moment. And mommy had to try for about 4 to 6 times to get me to down. I just didn't want to down. but once i did go.. i stayed and did what i was suposed to. I think we were just tired, mom and i both. We had been to a soccer practice fur one of my skin kids (walked there and back) sat there for an hour right by a walk path, all kinds of people going by on all kinds of contraptions and i just watched them.. on a loose leash!)

7. Comeing when called. Passed

8. Reaction to another Dog Passed. (not even interested in the other doggie)

9. Reaction to distractions. Passed.

10. Supervised supervision. Passed.


Mommy still thinks i did a PAWSOME job.... but we were both tired... it had been a long day and night. we took our test time at 9:35 pm. it was very late and i was ready for bed.


In fact today... other than greeting kids and going out to potty... all i have wanted to do is rest in my bed.

The CGC wasn't for me this time... but I will work some more and take it again another time.
And i will Pass.... I think thought that my next class is going to be a THERAPY DOG CLASS... or another Advanced obedience...
We were told to waite until we knew i was done growing to start doing lots of Jumps for agility (needing to be sure that all growth plates were done growing and sealed. ) If i need to waite for Agility, maybe i should try Rally?

Eather way i am sure we will find something to do that will keep us working. it's soo fun to be with the other doggies and people.

Fleaing the Flood.

Thank you all for your prayers for our cities.... you have no idea how much it is appriciated.
We are safe Saterday mama packed us all up and drove us over to Hettinger North Dakota (about 4 hrs.) to the grand rents house... needless to say right now we are sitting in a Blizzard (it just doesn't stop!) We had 14 inches of snow in about 12 hours or less and we are expecting more snow.then to only make things worse, the water has gong down about a foot in Fargo, except now they are looking at even more snow and winds which are not good for the river and of course the sand bags. Meaning that Faro can only be still cautious about the crest it has had of 40.82 feet.

so i ask to continue prayers, if you would please.
