Arrival Story:
I saw an ad in a local shopper paper advertising a Weimaraner free to good home. Harley had been with his previous family since he was a puppy and was 8 years old and they didn't want him anymore. I couldn't resist and when I went to pick him up I got there in the nick of time because he was in poor shape.

It is with a very heavy heart that I am writing to tell all of Harley's friends that we had to make the decision to let him go to the Rainbow Bridge yesterday. Harley was in kidney failure and there was nothing the vet could do to save him. We could have taken him home for a few more days but he would have suffered so we did the kindest thing and let him go. We only had Harley for a year and a half which wasn't nearly enough time with our sweet old gentleman but in that time he lived a great life and experienced things he never would have in his old home. We will love you and miss you always Harely, please give Molly a sloppy Weimy kiss when you see her at the Rainbow Bridge.
