Arrival Story:
Jester was a "special needs" ARPH rescue due to anxiety and some fear aggression issues. A good friend and the captain of our flyball team was his foster Mom in rescue and I pup-sat for her dogs one weekend, including Jes. I knew he would take a lot of work, but he got along with my other dog, Kiva, he was good with my cats and he needed to be placed with someone experienced with Aussies and with no kids around. I found myself saying "yes" to him and haven't regretted it for a moment, despite some very trying moments. He is truly a joy (most of the time)!

Bio:
Jes is in training to be a flyball dog, but he feels a lot of social pressure when asked to do something, so it's a slow process. Training has to be fun for him, or he just sits and looks sad. He loves his brother and cousins who live next door, but isn't so sure about strange dogs. Or humans, who he likes but doesn't trust. He is taking Prozac for his anxiety and we are going to visit our holistic vet soon to see if more can be done to help him.
