Arrival Story:
Kiva is a rescue from ARPH. He was given up, along with 2 other Aussies, at the age of 2.5 by his first family who was getting a divorce. I couldn't have gotten luckier!
Bio:
Kiva & I compete with the Portland Tail Blazers flyball team, after moving to Portland from Maryland where we trained & competed with 4 Dog Night. He has his Flyball Champion-Gold title, which we are both proud of.
We also dabbled in agility and have recently discovered the joys of disc dog.
Nearly two years ago, he was diagnosed with Lymphoma but with chemotherapy and some supplements to support his system, he is still living a happy and healthy life. Living with Lymphoma is a day-to-day thing, and we have been extremely lucky to have so much extra time.
