Arrival Story:
I adopted Petri after my dog Jack passed away. I wasn't sure if I was ready for another dog, but I was looking Petfinder.com just in case. When I saw his little face and gigantic ears, I knew Petri was the dog for me!

Bio:
Petri is named after the teradactyl on "The Land Before Time" because of his giant ears. Most people think he got his name because of a petri dish, but that's just not as fun. :) I think he was a ninja in a previous life, and he surprises me with his skills on a regular basis. The first couple of weeks I had him, I kept waking up with him in my bed, and I couldn't figure out how such a little dog could jump so high. It turns out that he was climbing up the side of his kennel and then jumping into the bed!
