Arrival Story:
One night I was surfing the pet ads and came across one for a free puppy. The word FREE excited me, but thought there should be a catch...Cause nothing in this world is free! I called the owners and they informed us that they adopted Chloe from an animal rescue center. The wife unexpectedly got pregnant and the couple was weary about having a newborn child around a mixed breed Rottweiler. I went to Pickering to meet Chloe and at first she was a little shy and nervous ... I think she knew what was going on and either was excited or scared or sad or all of the above...she was 8 months old. I immediately knew I wanted to bring her home...and did. She warmed up to me...She came with her own dog bowls, a cage the size of a mini apartment that has become HER space and some toys...From then on she has been the best addition to my home...I have been around many dogs in my life and I can honestly say that I have never seen a sweeter creature. And everyone who meets her agrees. It's impossible not to fall immediately in love with her.. Only other dog owners can truly understand the unconditional love pets bring to your life. I love her very much, and know she loves me back just as much. She has been moved around a lot. She's helped me through some very sad and difficlt times, her companionship and loyalty is unconditional. Her kisses, her warm welcome when I come home from work is all I need to complete my happy lifestyle. I'm glad that I can provide a loving home for her, and I certainly enjoy including her in my family.
