Arrival Story:
In August 1998, my beloved Dobie/Lab mix, Shadow, passed away at 12½ years old. When I was ready for another dog I decided to get a small one because at that time I thought of moving into an apartment, and not too many apts allow larger dogs. I had met a Pug several months beforehand and decided I must have one. When I was ready for my next dog I checked ads in the paper and found an ad with 2 pups still available, and the person offering them turned out to be the mother of a friend....small world! I chose Mugzie because she was a little firecracker and very playful...and still is after 11 years!
Bio:
In all the years I've had Mugzie, she has become such a spoiled little queen. She must be the center of attention at all times, and must be on my lap as much as possible. She used to sleep in bed with me, but my husband wasn't too keen on sharing a bed with the dog so I got her her own bed ("The Binky") and she loves having her own special bed. When it's bedtime she makes a beeline for her Binky.
