Bio:
I am a very loving girl - I love being around family and their friends. I don't like the Mailman or at least someone in a uniform. I love to eat mom and dads scraps before I eat that nasty dog food. I have a fenced in back yard so I can run and play. I have to be very careful not to fall into the pool. Dad is always worried about me getting hurt. My parents are so protective, But I Love Them.

My New Life Begins

when I was adopted

I got loose from my previous owner in April of 2007. OOPS I got so busy smelling all the good smells I didn't see the local animal control officer coming toward me. Well, he caught me and I spent the first night behind bars. Not too bad because the owner of the establishment was a really cool guy. He loves animals and he made me very comfortable and fed me some really good vittles.

After spending the night I was taken to the Vet for a physical. Everything was just fine and I was a healthy girl.

I went to College the next day - Cornell University to be exact. They have a great hospital and wonderful people who love animals. The doctors had to perform a procedure on me that would not allow me to have any little babies. That's OK because I don't know who would take care of them, I couldn't take care of myself.

About the same time I was found and going through my ordeal at the university. In Florida my soon to be adopted Mom and Dad were hurting very bad because their very special Boxer - Reno - was dying from brain cancer. Surgery was performed on Reno but he didn't survive.

Mom e-mailed the adoption center where I was staying and told them about her special friend dying. You see Reno used to stay at the center before Mom and Dad adopted him.

Well, Frank (the boss of the center) said Mom could adopt me if I was sure she wanted me and she was to pick me up on her way home from Florida.

E-mail is amazing - Mom kept in touch with Frank all the way home to New York and kept her promise and picked me up.

The bestest day of the first day of my new life.
