Arrival Story:
My husband and I decided it was time to grow our family with another kid (we already have 3 human boys and a cat). We had lost one about a year previous and we were finally ready to add to our family. I went to the animal shelter looking for a lab. They had three labs that for diffrent reasons just didn't meet what I was looking for. The lady at the shelter told me she thought I knew what I was looking for in a dog and asked if she could show me a couple of dogs. I agreed and she brought out a dog that for some reason I just didn't feel right about him. After she took him back to the back she came back with Bradon. He was so sweet to the kids (I had them with me). I decided this should be our new child. As I was signing the papers the lady informed me that she was so glad I adopted him because they had pushed his euthinaztion date back 3 months because they liked him so much but they couldn't push it back anymore and he was scheduled to be put to sleep the next day. Well we changed his name to Jake and I'm so glad he's part of our family now. I don't know what I would do without him.

It's Just Jake

My mommy recently found this diary thing and figured that I should write some things here. Now what to say? Well I guess I can start by I love my family. There is Mommy, Daddy, then my three kids that play with me all the time, my sister Isis, and my son Bumble Bee (who's really a cat but who cares). We play a lot together. I love it when Mommy or Daddy say I can go on a car ride. I just love going places with them. I never know where we are going but it's always fun. My Grandma comes over some times and takes me for a ride. It's just usually pretty quick but that's okay because I don't want to stay away from my family for to long. I hope you enjoyed reading. I'll probably start writing more often if Mommy lets me.
