Arrival Story:
Well... I've been waiting for the right show prospect Chihuahua for a long while. When this little girl started looking more and more like a real option, I asked her breeder, Emilie Flynn, what she though about the possibility of her joining my family. And it was happiness all around. :) It was only a matter of days before she was on a plane here.

Bio:
We'd never intended to call her Roo. We'd actually decided on Neela - which means blue. It was a name Emilie, Damon, and I all liked. Well, the night she arrived, all the dogs were having a bit of a "rooooo" together, and Lily-Ann (my 14 month old baby girl) looked up at me, pointed at our new Chihuahua baby, and asked "Roo?". She loves imitating animal sounds. So I smiled and said "Yes. Roo." Thus Neela, became Roo. She loved the name, Lily-Ann loved the name... what else could I do? I learned to love the name too. LOL
