summer update

Hello everyone,

I have had quite a few months since I last wrote...I am now 20 pounds...I am a TANK...that is what my mommy and daddy call me. I am still working on being 100% potty trained...but i have my moments. I have some new loves

I love my sister CC...she is the best and keeps me out of trouble...and occasionally gets me into trouble when she blames things on me...

I LOVE THE MUDD...where ever there is mud...i will find it and roll in it. I love being dirty.

I LOVE THE CREEK...we have a creek going through our 5 acres and i love sitting and lapping on the creek. It is not very deep so I just go in and wade in it. it is so fun.

I LOVE DEER...we have a lot of these interesting creatures and i am not scared of them and they are no longer scared of me either.

I LOVE PLAYING FETCH...with almost anything. it is so fun and i am so good at it.

I LOVE TREATS...CC doesn't like treats much probably cause she doesn't like anyone seeing her eat anything...but i love them and often will have her treat for her...don't tell mommy and daddy.

I love sleeping in between mommy and daddy...up by thier heads

I HATE: BEING CHAINED UP...THAT is something that i need to communicate better. mommy says i always need to be chained up cause i run away...i would never run away but i can not communicate that too effectively either.

Winter update

Well...I have been very busy. I have grown...grown...and grown some more. I am both Faster and bigger than my best friend CC. I let her win when we are playing fetch...otherwise she will not be happy...and those women...so moody. That is what i am trying to figure out right now...how to read the women in my life...my daddy tells me it is a hopeless task and to cuddle and give kisses the instant a negative mood is anticipated.

I have been busy playing in the leaves in the fall. We have 5 acres so i was also discovering the woods. I love putting on my CAMO and go exploring in the woods.

I absolutely love the snow. I could sit outside all day. CC wants to come in after 2 seconds when her buisness is done...i perfer to stay out there forever. Mommy and Daddy won't let me go out side by myself and make me stay in the fenced area. I don't like that at all. One day i jumped up over the fence...and I will never do that again.

I loved all my christmas presents from mommy and daddy. I love to play with all my different toys.

I am now waiting for it to be above zero again so i can play more in the snow.

The VET!

I had to go back to the Vet. At first I thought it was just a car ride. I get so sleepy in the car that I fell asleep. When I woke up we were in and office and I already knew where we were. My best pal CC was with me, and she wasn't excited at all. I really don't mind the Vet. So I volunteered to go first. I got very sleepy during the exam and the VET said that only one other time in her whole career did she have such a sleepy puppy in her office. I was just trying to stay calm for CC as she was very stressed out. I had to get a shot which spiced me up a little but I did not cry. The Vet even gave me this brown goopy stuff to get me a little more excited...to no evail...i just slept on. They checked my blood sugar which was fine. My mommy told them that when I play...I PLAY HARD...and when I sleep...I am just like my daddy and I SLEEP HARDER. That is how I keep up with my best pal CC. She hardly ever sleeps. After we play for a little while...I usually need to take a little napper to restore my energy...so I can WIN THE BATTLES (although she is usually on top...but just you wait...I'm growing up and getting bigger and eating my puppy chow...just you wait...I am going to be the one on top.

Where did my mommy go

My mommy had to go to seattle...or something like that for 5 whole days. I was left with daddy and CC who helped me through. I was so missing my mommy everynight. She would always cuddle and love me like no one else...at first I thought she left me, but then she came back with treats and toys and said you are so silly Cosmo...I could never leave you and was so homesick for your kisses...:)

I get to sleep in bed with my mommy and daddy and my best friend CC. CC gets mad if I disturb her while she is sleeping but occasionnaly I will cuddle up next to her. Usually I sleep right in between my mommy and daddy, in the space above my mommy's head. Well last night...I had to go potty...I couldn't hold it...I tried waking up CC but as crabby as she is, she growled at me to Leave her alone. Daddy did not wake up, and my mommy just held me closer and patted my head...SO I JUST WENT WHERE I WAS AT...Just a little pee...and went back to sleep. Well in the morning...my mommy said something smells...but they couldn't figure out where it was coming from...I think they first thought someone may have pooped (possibly it would only be me), but the bed was clean...so they went back to sleep. Then my mommy yells out...DID YOU WET THE BED...was she talking to me, or to my Daddy...I was a little confused...I took that as my exit cue and I used my stairs they created for me out of pillows....CC followed...and well...I am sure they figured it out becuase they were pulling off the bedsheets and spraying the smelly stuff all over the bed. ha ha ha LOL...SO THE MORAL OF MY LITTLE TALE...IS PAY ATTENTION TO ME WHEN I AM TALKING...OR ELSE

Weekend Fun

This weekend was my first outing. My Mommy put some clothes on me... that I liked to chew more than anything else. I got to go for a car ride...unfortunately I did not like it so my Daddy put me inside of his shirt, otherwise I was wimpering. I went to a birthday party...so many people...so many kids. At the party everyone wanted to hold me...I was scared unless I was in my mommy's arms. I played with the wrapping paper and bows...bags...and I even got into the frosting on a stray peice of cake. I had a good time...and was definitely pooped when I returned home.

Things that go bump in the night

Last night I was playing all around and discovered how much I like to chew on socks...My mommy came back with many toys for me to play with...although I still like those socks when I find them. I played so hard that I fell asleep and when I woke up...goodness did I have to go to the bathroom. I was so high up on this bed and it was so dark. CC wouldn't get up and she growled when I nudged her...my daddy was snoring so loud I was scared to get too close to him and my Mommy picked me back up and nestled me close...but I still had to go to the bathroom. So I nudged myself to the side of the bed and pooped. I tried making it go off the side so no one would notice. I learned my Daddy is a very hard sleeper and I guess he must have rolled right into it. My mommy woke up as she is a light sleeper and I don't know how but she knew what had happened. It was so dark she must have night vision. She was laughing so hard when she turned on the light and Daddy had some poop all over his chest and one arm. She woke him up and he was MAD! She just picked me up and said sorry I didn't realize you had to go potty, and gave me kisses. She put me on my potty mat and told me this is where you go potty and I peed right on the mat. She picked me up again and gave me love and kisses. Daddy even joined in...I don't know where he was at, but his hair was all wet when he came back. This morning she was still laughing about it. I'm so cute :)

My first days

My new mommy took me home today...I am missing my brothers and my mother as I cry sometimes. My new mommy picks me up and cuddles and loves me to help me through this transition. I am a little over 6 weeks old. I have a new playmate named CC. She is older and very fiesty. I also have another playmate that visits us often named Koozy...she is my friend also. We played together last night. I sleep alot right now, and I even have my own bed. CC let me take a nap on her last night and that made me miss my old home a little less. My mommy has to work all day and CC makes me so I do not get too lonesome. My new Daddy loves me very much too and always is giving me kisses. Hurry home!
