To my dear and wonderful friends:
For those who might have missed my 'thank you' posting:
Bless you and thank you for your beautiful rosettes, hugs and kind words of sympathy, and also for lighting candles; it has meant a great deal to mum and me.
My goodness, it’s so wonderful here at the bridge and, what a super welcoming I got from my furbro, Mr. Spud, fursis, Angel Sweetie, and all my fur angel friends … so many hugs and kisses ... it was overwhelming!
You know what’s really great too … I can see again; I know exactly what my mum and dad look like now and I’m not bumping into things either, unless, of course, I don’t look where I’m flying … at the moment I only have my learners licence for flying. Oh yes, I can breathe freely too, and my little heart is merrily going boompity-boom … no more pain and struggling for breath. Whooppeee! Also, when I’m not practising my flying I can run … yes, really run free in the beautiful sunshine!!
Of course, my leaving was very sudden and it’ll be a while yet until mum and dad’s hearts begin to heal. Even so, I’m keeping a keen eye on them and every so often I send down a sprinkling of angel-dust. It’s very good for drying tears, you know, and there’s lots of it available here at the bridge! Hmmmm… I might even apply for the job as CAD (that’s Chief Angel-dust Disperser.)
Well, I can hear the bell ringing … and that means it’s time for angel food.
Gotta go now my friends. Remember I’ll be watching over you.
Big heavenly hugs,
Yours forever,
Angel DeeDee.

I heard the Lord's voice whisper,
I call you now to me.'
I said, 'Oh, goodness Lord, why today?
It's daddy's birthday, see.'
He smiled and said,
'It is, because, my furry little one,
Your heart can beat no longer
Now your work on earth is done.'
I said, 'Dear Lord, I'll come with you
To my special place above,
But only if you'll mend mum's heart
With your healing hands of love.'
The Lord, he smiled and nodded
Then lifted me up high,
I turned and gave a tiny bark,
I was saying my goodbye.

Just had to tell everyone I had a real super birthday on Sunday.
What made it even more special was that so many people remembered me and sent rosettes and happy wishes. It really made my day. Thanks you so much my furpals.
Also, I had great foodies i.e. plenty of meatball with mum's special gravy on my biscuits. (Gravy helps cos I got no toofies! BOL).
Glad to report I'm still doing very well except, of course, when I can't find my mum, then I get all panicky. Sigh, sometimes she's right beside me on my right-hand side, which means I can't see her. She tries to keep on my left cos I can still see a little bit out of my left eye. Sadly, I'm beginning to walk into things now and misjudge steps. Mum says it would be easier for me if we lived in just a downstairs house. She's grateful there's perpex fitted along the railing cos there's been many a time I've spotted her on the stairs and tried to get through the bars. I'd fall about 15 feet if there wasn't perspex to stop me!
My fave is still to be curled up in my blankie on mum's lap. (That's where I am at this very moment!) Shhh... don't wake me.
Luvya my dear friends and will seeya around.
Always lotsa hugs,
Dee-Dee.

Well, this morning mum took me to see Dr. John (the vetman) so's he could give me my post op check. As always, I wriggled and wriggled until mum almost dropped me. Dr. John says I'm one of his smallest patients and that I always put the the biggest fight. Anyway, I had my booster and then, he cleverly sneaked a deworming pill into my mouth. The biggest fight came when he tried to clip my nails. Boy, mum was in quite a sweat by the time it was all over. Just goes to show, you don't mess with me!
Glad to say all is fine now. More good news is that my weight has increased to almost 5 1/2 lbs. I'm a real chubby cheeks these days.
Still having a problem on the vision side of things though, and tend to get myself a little lost at times. Of course, it's always worse when I can't find my mum - I sorta go into panic mode until I find her, you see. My favorite pos is still on her lap . Just as well she has a foot rest. It helps her support me on her lap.
Oh. I almost forgot. I'm getting my dad trained as well. He even lets me come up on his lap when he's at the pooter. Wow, I tell ya, I've got it made!
Must go now my precious furpals.
Luvya all.

'You are a tiny terror, Dee-Dee!' Yup, that's what mum said to me. Me? Good heavens, I wonder why. Let me think now. Yes, well, the other evening I was sleeping beside her - on the chair. (It was all nice and comfy by the way). Then, my big sis Sox decided to hop up on to mum's lap. My word, I took off like a packet of crackers at her!!! There was me, the tiny toothless wonder going yap-yap and snap-snap at my big sis. It worked, too. She jumped off.
Just cause I'm tiny doesn't mean I haven't got spunk, you know. Mum's 'mine' now and so is my bed for that matter. I had a go at Sweetie the other day cause she walked over me while I was sleeping. I love attention and if mum doesn't respond immediately I squeak and stamp my teeny paws. It works every time.
Pleased to say I'm eating very well. As for the old back legs, well they tend to wobble regularly (the vetman says it's beacause I'm having a senior moment, whatever that means). My right eye, of course, has zero vision - the left one's almost given up the ghost, too. Not to worry though, I've been with mum almost a year now and know where I'm at - well, most times anyway.
Must go now dear friends. Luv ya all, and my furfamily, of course; even though they bowl me over every now and again.
Hugs and woofs to every fur.
Dee-Dee.

G'morning all furs,
It all started at about 8:15 a.m. when mum took me to John, the vetman. (Oh my word, she was fretting so about me). From there I was taken to John's main practice (that's where all the big stuff happens) and a sweet nurse gave me an injection. Can't say I remember very much after that. Apparently though, my nails were clipped, the hair around my eyes trimmed and something was taken out of my tummy.
John says that while I was asleep, he found a nasty cyst on one of my ovaries; a jolly good thing I had the op, he said to mum when she collected me. (She was so happy to see me). He also said I'd been ever so vocal whilst travelling in the car. I don't like car rides, see!
Well, it was great to be home again and near my mum. Glad to say I had a very good night; slept right through mind! Am still a little sore today, but mum's keeping a watchful eye on me and has been carrying me outside to do my business. No doubt, I'll be very hungry later. I just know she'll make me something special to eat.
So, there you have it furs; yesterday, I became a brand new sports model (a little one, of course). No more problems for me now!
You all take care now,
Hugs and lotsa licks,
Dee-Dee.

Hi Furs,
Been a while since mum wrote up my diary; same old excuse, of course, she's busy-busy.
Anyway, here I am all bright and shiny after being bathed yesterday. Can't say I really enjoyed it or the brushing I was given after, but must admit I smell ever so good now.
I have a gripe though - yup and a big one. It's about my collar, a new collar mind. I should be grateful I suppose, but in fact, I'm most annoyed. Why? you ask. Well, it's a cat-collar. No, I'm not joking, mum's making me wear a cat collar with a stupid bell in it. (Excuse me while I give a big sigh). Thanks.
Well, getting back to my new collar. It would seem that because I'm so tiny and have a habit of sneaking up behind mum, she 's awfully worried she might step back on me. At least now, she can hear the ting-ting of the little bell and knows when I'm around. (Another big sigh). I suppose I'll get used to it.
On the whole things are going pretty good. Sox and TJ bowl me over every so often but that's the price one pays for being a lil titch. I'm loving the summer and enjoy smelling new and exciting things in the garden.
Anyway, must go now my furry pals. I really luvsya all!
Hugs from me.

Hello everyfur,
Long time no diary entry - you can blame mum for that; she's always busy - whatever that words means.
Good news though! Yesterday mum and dad took me and my senior fursis, Sweetie, to the vet. (Check-up) Wow, you should've seen me shiver and shake; I made my squeaky noise too! Mum says I sound like a pigeon!! The cheek of it.
Anyway, I digress. The vet lady weighed me again and was very pleased - I now weigh 5.40 lbs. Hooray!!! Also, apart from being almost completely blind, I am a very healthy little girl.
Oh, speaking of girls; I really surprised mum by having one of those 'girlie things' happen! Yup! All going well, this coming June I shall be having a doggierectomy. Sounds very spooky, but mum says it's a piece of cake and not to worry.
Other than that all's well and good here; I really love my hoomans . I'm looking forward to the summer months too so I can play outside on the lawn.
You all keep well now.
Hugs and luvs,
Dee-Dee xxx

The rules are to write 7 interesting facts about yourself in your diary & then tag 7 other doggies or kitties by a leaving rosette OR a p-mail.
1. I’m so happy my mum found me before I was put to sleep.
2. I love it when she carries me around.
3. I spend a lot of my time near the heater.
4. I don’t bark but if you touch me when I’m sleeping I’ll snap at you.
5. I can’t bite you because I have no toofies.
6. I’m blind in one eye and have about 10 percent vision in the other one.
7. My mum picks me up when my dad comes home so’s I don’t get knocked over in the rush.
I'm tagging~ it's ok if don't wanna play:
Jake, Fancy, Duke, Jessi, Molly, Maizy and Thumper
