Arrival Story:
Hmmm...how do I explain this? I was leaving the Home Depot parking lot (which is at a light; at a busy intersection, no less) and as I was waiting at the red I noticed that across the street (which is the onramp to the freeway) I saw a little tiny puppy dodging cars! On the ONRAMP TO A FREEWAY! So I went back to the HD hot dog vendor to get something to coax her into the car (I didn't want to just drive up and scare her onto freeway traffic) and when I came back, the light was still red. When I saw that no cars were coming on either side I ran the red, honking my horn to warn people and stopped my car on the onramp. I opened my door and she just jumped right in and sat in the passenger seat the whole way home! On my way back, I thought "Who would like a dog?" And by the time I got home I just couldn't think of a darn one! As I came in I had her in my arms and called to my beau, "We have company." He came to the door and as he took her into his arms, he too started to wonder, "Who would like a dog?" By the time he got to the top of the stairs he just couldn't think of a darn one either! She was ours....to stay!
Bio:
She's a big loveable, huggable dog! She loves to meet and play with other dogs but she's a bit shy at first. She needs a little push sometimes. She used to love to go to dog park but since Buster came along...whose a bit of a handful...she sadly doesn't get to go much. She's also great with people...she just luuuuvvvvvvs the attention. When we first got her she was very shy and quiet, but with Buster, who just loves to hog all the attention, she's learned to speak up! Now you just can't shut her up! She'll bark, whimper, or sigh, until you give her attention...or a treat! But she's just full of love and we love her just as much!
