I miss Grandma!

I haven't had a very good week. Grandma had back surgery so she is in the hospital and won't be home until next week at the earliest. It's hard for me to understand why she isn't around! But it's even harder on Sadie since she lives at Grandma's house. Mom has been spending time at the hospital and I am not allowed to go, so I've been spending alot more time alone than usual, but I've been being a good boy and not getting in any trouble.

It is raining this morning. I though maybe obedience class would be cancelled, but Paula (the trainer) said we would have class rain or shine. Luckily my stitches are all out so I won't have to wear a dumb plastic bag on my leg! I hope I'm not too far behind. We haven't done all our homework this week! I blame my Mom!

Obedience class

Yesterday was my second obedience class. I did great. There were two new dogs, one was a German Shepherd. Now there are three of them in class and they are all kinda cranky! I just wanted to be friends, but they thought I was lunch! Just kidding! I think their bark is worse than their bite, but I hope I never find out! My family thinks I'm a big puppy (almost 40 pounds now!) but those Shepherds are HUGE!

We are working on heeling and sitting this week, I already know how to sit, but Paula (the trainer) wants me to do it even when I don't get a treat! I'm not sure I like that!

It has been one week since I got "fixed" (why do they call it that, seems more like I got broken!) Everything is healing fine and I am back to my rambunctious self. I also had a dew claw removed and had to go back to the vet to get a new bandage after it got soaked on Saturday. Now I don't have to wear the bandage anymore, but I keep playing with it so Mom makes me wear a sock! How annoying! Well, thats all for now. Gotta go for my walk!
