2 years ago today you left us to go to the Bridge.

I miss you so much Diggz. You were such an angel. And now you really are. I love you more than words my best buddy. I am sending you hugs and kisses and all my love.

Birdy says Hi. So does Daddy, he misses you so much too.

We talked about you today how much we miss your smile, your giggle inspiring farts and your mesmerizing chocolate brown eyes that you used to your advantage on many an occasion.

Thank you so much for blessing me for 13 years, for giving me such perfect unconditional love and for standing beside me through the good and the bad. I will love you forever.

2 years and I can still feel you here beside me. I always will.

Love you big boy.

16 years ago I came around the corner of the Dog Beach Dog Wash and saw the most sad face I had ever seen. Dirty, hurt, sick and tired, you looked at me with those chocolate eyes and you grabbed my heart with all your might. You had it then and you have it now.

And except for the "handmade Christmas chocolate baskets" incident of '94, you were the best dog a girl could have.

You were there to lick the tears from my cheeks when I was sad and there to make me smile when I was mad. You made me laugh everyday and brought joy to all those who knew you.

You stood at my side when I married your "Daddy" and I think I saw you wink. You were there through so many important chnages in my life, steadfast and always strong.

You gave to me a best friend, a cuddle buddy and a foot warmer on those cold winter nights. I confidant, a sounding board and a walking partner. You took care of me when I was sick and ran at my side when I was well.

Mr. Diggz, my silly bean, I miss you so very much right now.

You'd have loved Birdy very much, she reminds me of you, you know, that selective hearing thing. BOL.

I'm glad I was there with you when you went to The Bridge, and that the last words you heard were that we loved you so very much.

We do, your Daddy and I, Diggz we still love you very much.

I hope there IS a Bridge, and that you are there with an endless supply of tennis balls and steaks.

Hugs baby boy.
