She bounces!!!! She can't sit still and she literally bounces off her front paws as her butt is on the floor.

Arrival Story:
I came to live in this house because my first mom fell on hard times and couldn't keep me in the means I was accustom to. She gave me a good life for a year and a half and then lost her job. All of my agility training and obedience training couldn't make up for no money, so she made the hard choice to find a new home for me. She called a Standard Schnauzer person in Massachusetts and asked if she could possibly find an agility family who would continue with training and competing with me. It just so happens that this family was looking at that very moment. I guess it was meant to be and I know that my first mom would be very happy to know that I am doing well here with my new brothers. By the way, Dori doesn't have anything to do with "Finding Nemo". Dad liked the name and mom researched it and it means "The gift" or "Gift from God". They felt it fit perfectly and I'm doing my best to learn it day by day.

I am a purebred with papers and a fancy schmancy name. I guess I'm the first one in this house! My pawrents were told that my breeders are well respected and produce good dogs, so they were relieved to hear that. I am well trained in agility and my new mom says that I may be BETTER trained than my brothers! BOL I'm about 3 inches taller than Duffy and jet black. Mom said that when my furnishings grow out I will look a lot like Duncan. That would be cool. I'll start to call him "Mini-me"!!!!

C-ATE4 Pretty, Pretty Princess!!!!

Yes dogs, I took my C-ATE4 this weekend on a beautiful Jumpers run (if I do say so myself). In fact I was a total rock star diva all weekend long! Dad was so pleased with me AND I beat my stinkin rock star brudders on the last run of the weekend, so there!!!! I sort of run hot and cold and sometimes I just don't feel like running at all, so being up in the elite group of teams that have a C-ATE4 (right now it's less than 10 in the country) is pretty good. Mom thinks it's cause dad is running Deacon now and I'm getting jealous, so I'm showing him what I've got. It's all good and dad is happy, so we all win.

Mom woke me up today and gave me kisses and told me I was 6 years old today! It's been a long road this year. We have had some bad times with Deacon, Duffy and Duncan all needing special care and some happy times with agility. All in all, it's been a good year for me. Mom and I came to an understanding. She now understands that I'm the queen... *what?* OH, SHE'S the queen and I'm her princess. She lurvs me wicked and sometimes gets to run me in agility. I love that cause she runs fast and makes me chase her. She ran me a lot this year because Dad was out of town a lot. It was pretty fun! I earned my C-ATE3 in October and that is a pretty big deal I guess. I don't know, I just like to play with them.

Well, I'm off to see what I can get for a birthday dinner.

Happy Barkday to Meeeeeeeeeeeeee!

I'm 5 today! It's very important that my pack knows this. I'm the queen today and furever! Mom made some snarky comment about me finding my brain and calming down now that I'm 5. I don't think she's very funny and I may have to bite her later... Anywho, not only is it my barkday today (I'm the only one that really has a barkday because I have AKC papers so they know for sure), but I also achieved my C-ATE2 in the last few weeks! That is the second C-ATE in ONE year! My other one was on January 31 this year!!! Take that brothers! Soooo, I'm kicking back here and taking all the special loving that my humans can bestow on me... Just like a queen is supposed to.
