A New Year

So this is a new year 2010. Boy it sure was crazee with the 2 ft of snow in February. I was trying to dig out the kitty kat in the drifts. Then Scoots tries to scratch out my eye (frequently), it was very bloody! My mom does not know why Scoots tries to scratch my face even when I'm sleeping (Crazy Kit Kit!). The vet said she didn't scratch my cornea but the cat needed to go! I went to a new place for dogsitting when my mom took vacation. It was lots of fun. And I'm on a new holistic dog food (YUMMY!). This is my six month review for 2010 (but Scoots is still around).

Racoon in the Yard!

It was a warm day a couple of weeks ago and my Mom and I were in the yard doing some lawn work (I was digging holes for the garden). I kept smelling something in the air. Suddenly my Mom hears me barking for a long time underneath our porch. When she looked under there she saw me and told me to come out and when I didn't she crawled under to shoo me out thats when she turned her head and saw a masked marauder!..the RACOON starin' right at her...thats right....thats right! Well, she started yelling and I started barking and we both ran like the dickins into the back yard. Now I'm forbidden to go under the porch but I have my rabies shot so I'm still a brave cocker spaniel and I want to chase that bad bad bandit! My Mom thinks we need to call animal control. I think I got the situation under control though.

Takin' Scoots 2 the Doctor

My kitty Scoots had to go to the doctor for 2 more vaccinations. I didn't want her to go alone so I asked my Mom to take me too. Boy when we got there I remembered why I hate to go, its scary! But Scoots needed me to come so she wasn't scared. When we got back home Scoots went straight to bed but the next morning she said "Good Morning- MEOOOOOWWW" (I think her butt still hurts from the needles).

Fun with Scoots

It is mid February and I love the cold weather. Scoots and I were in the yard together eating grass. But we had to go in early because Scoots climbed on top of the neighbors garage and couldn't get down. Mom got angry (Scoots does not listen to mom) and had to climb up to get her down (naughty kitty!). But she got some treats just like me anyway.

I have my own kitty, "Scoots". Although she is only a year and a half she is fun to play with. Sometimes I will let her sleep next to me on the sofa (see pic). But she loves when I chase her down the steps. God must really love me because I have a best buddy in the house now when Mom goes to work.

Mom Bakes Biscuits

Because of all the recalls since 2007, my Mom has been baking all these yummy biscuits for me and hopes to make it a traditional holiday gift to all my local pup pals! We have baked for any holiday Peanut Butter-Oatmeal, Apple Oatmeal and Apple-Sweet Potato Cookies and biscuits. I love to eat 'em up!! Now I'm not worried about yucky things in my food and neither is my Mom! C-ya next time, woof.
