Arrival Story:
Her daddy and mommy (Frankie & Maya) snuck behind the shed, just before Maya's "fated visit" to the vet. Well, when time for the visit came, I had to cancel the vet visit, I spotted the tell tale signs of pregnancy. So, weeks later - out came 8 black puppies. Not one was brown like their daddy, though some did look like him physically. As we raised them with a great Momma Maya, we became attached to all; but could only pick ONE. Everyone knew it had to be a girl, so as not the threaten Father Frankie's King status later in life. There were 3 girl pups. One someone else had picked already. Then it was easier and we all liked the cute face and friendly nature of our "Princess." So, now we officially have 4 dogs and 1 cat. We also have 2 pups waiting for their "furever homes" to find them. UPDATE: 3-09 - As you all noticed . . . we have kept 3 of the pups. One came back and we decided we wouldn't let him leave again, that's Tigger. He's a lover and a clown. Then we were going to give away Prince, but he's just to attached to Mom and we couldn't! So, we are a family of six! The Six Tales!
