Arrival Story:
Let me tell you my story... I was saved from a kill shelter where they were going to euthanize me because I have a broken hip. ! I am so sweet and I greet everyone I meet with a wagging tail and kisses. My foster mom says it is amazing how sweet, loving and happy I am considering what's happened to me. She says I will make a wonderful and doting family member to anyone who gives me a chance! I love to play & act silly. ....Just give me a chance & I won't prove you wrong!

My foster Mom has tried to contact specialists to just LQQK at me thinking maybe they would have it in their heart to help me get out of pain & they refused her. So we need to come up with $4500.00 ourselves to fix me. Maybe you know a vet that would make my boo boo's go away? I won't let you down! I'll LOVE you forever! Please go to if you are interested in adopting {application requied}, fostering {application requied}, or sponsoring any available Furbaby! Tell then you saw me on! Thanks ! Your Friend, Bourdoux xoxox

The Story of Adam & Eve's Pets

Adam and Eve said, 'Lord, when we were in the garden, you walked with us every day. Now we do not see you any more. We are lonesome here, and it is difficult for us to remember how much you love us.'

And God said, I will create a companion for you that will be with you and who will be a reflection of my love for you, so that you will love me even when you cannot see me. Regardless of how selfish or childish or unlovable you may be, this new companion will accept you as you are and will love you as I do, in spite of yourselves.

And God created a new animal to be a companion for Adam and Eve.
And it was a good animal. And God was pleased.

And the new animal was pleased to be with Adam and Eve and he wagged his tail .

And Adam said, 'Lord, I have already named all the animals in the Kingdom and I cannot think of a name for this new animal.'

And God said, 'I have created this new animal to be a reflection of my love for you, his name will be a reflection of my own name, and you will call him DOG.'

And Dog lived with Adam and Eve and was a companion to them and loved them.
And they were comforted. And God was pleased.
And Dog was content and wagged his tail.

Hi There! My name is Bourdoux & I would like to ask for your help if I may. I am a three year old Bichon Frise that was rescued from the Miami kill shelter. I am a happy guy that just Loves everyone. I have a great life now that Brooke's Legacy Animal Rescue gave me a second chance. They knew when they saw me that I would make someone a great companion if given the chance. I was hours away from going to heaven when they opened that cage & took me into their arms, which happened to be the arms of an "Angel." I was taken to a vet right away because they noticed I was only using three of my legs. The first vet said I had one broken hip but she couldn't do surgery because that isn't her specialty. We went to another vet who said both hips had breaks but she didn't specialize in that kind of surgery either and she said my surgery would cost around $4500.00 which the rescue just dosen't have. My foster Mom called a specialist in the area that wouldn't even see me. I have even been on Fox 4 Rising as the "Dog of The Day" LQQKING for people to sponsor my surgery but I guess with the way the economy is people just can't afford to help. I think if I have the surgery I would find my Furever home. Can you help me? I would be Furever greatful. My foster Mom says I have a funny & silly personality and that I bring joy to her life everyday. Imagine how much more I could do if I had all four legs to use. I can't go up and down the stairs because of my legs but I get lots of hugs & kisses from my Mom as she carries me out to go potty & I kinda like that ;-) I have attached some pictures so you can see how cute I am. I LQQK foward to hearing from you or maybe even meeting you someday! Love & Kisses,Bourdoux PSMaybe when you have time you can foward this email to people that you think might help me :-) Remember, Don't Shop Adopt!

About Our Rescue Group:
Brooke Ashley Miller is the reason for Brooke's Legacy Animal Rescue Team, as well as She has given so much in her life, that we want to give some back. On Brooke's 18th birthday, she was driving to her grandparents house for her party. She was involved in a tragic accident that ejected her, and her 7 week old puppy, Mia from her truck. Mia has fully recovered from her head trauma, despite a few scars. Brooke was flown to a Florida trauma center for severe head injuries. She underwent two separate emergency brain surgeries, and after exactly seven days in a coma, she passed away. She lived every day to the fullest, and always found the good in everything, and everyone. One of her greatest loves was animals. She was an avid barrel racer for nine years with her much loved Quarter Horse, Red Dawn. Brooke was actively involved in The Happy Trails 4-H Club, worked at Pat's Kids, AppleBee's as a Hostess, and at the New To You Consignment Shop. She also worked at her mom's grooming shop, Groomingdale's Of Naples. Brooke was attending Edison Community College at age 16. Brooke has two younger brothers, Mason and Colton, and one younger sister, Cheyenne. They are all following in Brooke's footsteps with their love of animals. Brooke is, and will always be remembered for her love of life. Her love of children, and her love for animals. Brooke is in the hearts of all of us. Her website is:
