My new BEST friend!

Okay....so I know I haven't written for awhile but I'm not one to write unless I have something worth writing about.....well, now I do....and her name is Annabelle!

I met her during my recent Christmas trip to where my Mommy's family lives....we go there every year....it's wonderful....there's lots & lots of room to run around....they've got really tall animals there too. I think they're called horses....their big heads & long teeth scare me! Anyway, I digress....so my aunt & uncle got a new puppy....a french bulldog, Annabelle. She's only 4 or 5 months old but she's a fun little pup!

Our initial meeting included lots of sniffing....everyone was afraid that I was gonna be rough with her.....but I quickly learned that she could hold her own. She was like the energizer bunny...she kept going & going & going....she has the ears too!

We had such a great time together....we constantly played....chasing each other & teasing one another with toys! Like someone famous once said, "We were like peas & carrots!" It was very sad to say goodbye....I pretended to be really tired that morning when we drove away but I was really depressed.

I think of Annabelle often....but I don't get to see her much....we live far away from each other.....like millions of miles. Everytime we get in the car I try not to get my hopes up. Whenever Mommy & Daddy mention her name I'll perk up & tilt my head....anxious to see that spunky pup with bunny ears! I miss her....but I'll never admit it!

Well, enough with this sentimental stuff....I'm off to take a bubble bath!

Pink is NOT my signature color.....

So Monday was Valentines Day....I'm not sure exactly what that means but I got some toys & lots of extra treats! I would have written about this wonderful holiday sooner but I've been suffering a bit of a hangover from all the peanut butter treats & kongs!

Anyhow...it was a wonderful day & I'm thankful that I'm so loved, however, it seems to be a very girlie holiday...everything I got was pink & had hearts all over it!! I'm not a girl!! Even though I've been "altered" it doesn't mean that it's acceptable to give me pink fuzzy toys! Well, I showed my parents....the pink bone was ripped about an hour after I got it....I'm much too macho for this stuff....instead keep the treats coming!!

Well, I see some stuffing coming out of the pink bone so I'm going to finish this toy off once & for all....hope you had a great Valentines Day!

Snow....it's not too bad....

I'm completely perplexed! It went from green & short to white & tall....I could barely walk in it!! Everyone calls it "snow", I call it cold & wet!!! Apparently snow is making a visit now & it's the first time I've ever seen it! I was completely apprehensive when I saw it from the window. Eventually I had to answer the call of nature, so I grudgingly sat there while my mom put on the coat (never a good sign) & she had to drag me out the door!

Although it was cold on my paws & that took some getting used to, it wasn't too bad! I liked dunking my face into it & then watching mommy & daddy laugh hysterically....they're definitely an easy audience! I also discovered that when I run around in circles after dunking my face they would laugh even harder! This is too easy....

I must caution all of the new-to-snow-puppies out there....don't eat, lick or dunk your face in yellow snow....trust me on this one!!

All this typing has made me hungry....I'm off to beg for food!!
