Arrival Story:
I had lost Jake (my first Mal) back in Nov. 2007. One day in April 2008 I happened to email the CHAAMP (Chesapeake Area Alasken Malamute Protection) to find out what was involved in becoming a foster home..... I told them I was not sure if I was ready for another dog, well after 5 minutes of receiving my email they called me and told me about Zoe and they needed a foster home for her.... So, of course I said I would give it a try... knowing if it was not right for me I could send her back.... Well, it has been about 4 months now and I just sent in her adoption papers. I am not sure how old she is but she has a lot of puppy left in her.... We think she came from a puppy mill that she escaped from. So, now she is living the high and easy life of a house dog (ruler)!!! Somehow it must have been fate, that I emailed them right when she needed a home.
