Arrival Story:
In January of this year our little Rock Star Roxy, our baby girl Boxer passed away from Cancer. She was barely 1 year in age but brought so much joy and love into our home unlike any other pet we had ever experienced. When she went to the bridge is just wasn't and isn't the same. We knew we would always like to get another Boxer but thought at the time it was too soon, we didn't want Roxy to feel like we were replacing her. My husband and I had always been looking at pictures of puppies online as well as looking at all the Boxer Rescue organizations in our area. We enjoyed looking at the pictures and remembering Roxy. We went to the pet store to get some fish supplies and there was a couple with a 4 month old Boxer. I started petting him, looked into those big brown eyes and new it was time. I had to walk away because I started crying. A few days later my husband and I started researching breeders in our area and after a few visits to some we thought maybe it wasn't time since we hadn't found "our girl". On the last visit of the day we visited a breeder a few towns away from us and were playing with the mom and dad boxers when we turned the corner and saw all the puppies. Our Lily walked over to us and gave us a look like "finally you guys show up". We can't wait to bring our baby home on September 26th. We have been visiting her every week and the breeder suggested we drop off an old t-shirt for her to sleep with. So we did and in a week she knew who we were. The second time we went to visit her, she stopped what she was doing and ran right over to us.

Lily is turning into a great kid! She has started going on her big girl walks and is doing fabulous! She has started teething so needless to say nothing is safe in the house...she starts puppy classes next week so we are excited to see how that goes. She already knows sit, watch me and is doing better on the come command. Plus she is getting better with her "shake". She is such a smart little girl and loves learning! She is getting more and more snuggly by the day...which we love!

Well miss Cali Lily's White Lightning is finally home and her first night went off without a hitch! She is getting along well with her brothers and is bonding closely with her sister. She slept thru the night with 2 potty breaks and the housetraining is going remarkably well! Every hour more and more of her little...or should I say BIG personality is coming out. We are enjoying watching her grow, play with her fur siblings and settling into her furever home!

Heart is pounding!!!!

I can barely keep my heart in my chest!!! In about 3 hours my baby girl will be in my arms and on her way home to her furever home! The suspense and excitement of bringing Lily home has been growing over the last 3 weeks and I can hardely contain myself! We can't wait to bring the joy and laughs of another Boxer into our home. We know that she will never replace our beloved Roxy but will help us remember the good times we had with her. We know Roxy will looks over her and take her under her wing and teach her how to be a good little girl, just like Roxy was.
