I rescued Charlie when he was 6 months old...he was in crisis!
I'll let Charlie tell you his story below..................
Bio:
I was a stray always looking for human friends. I found a group of teenage boys. I thought they wanted to play with me. It was witnessed that everyday for a week, when they got home from school, they would kick me, stomp on my feet, throw me on the ground. Some one saw them do something to my leg and I screamed (later it was found out that they fractured it with their bare hands), on the last day, they shot me with a B.B. gun. My mom's step dad saw it and approached them and things got ugly. My mom was called, she came from out of town and picked me up. She took me to the vet, alot of work need to be done on me. I was also very skinny and very sick, I had every worm, and the begining of distemper. From that day forward...I have known nothing but love! I forgive those boys, mom said they must be mentally ill and we should pray for them. They may have won the battle, but I won the war!
UPDATE: My time came on Feb 1st, time for me to Fly to the next Journey. I had a wonderful 14 years on earth. I am staying busy playing and running like a new puppy here at The Bridge. And I will wait here to be reunited with my Momma and Daddy and all my friends and family with Fur and those with skin:)

Together Again One Day
The day they laid you down to sleep
I prayed to the Lord, your soul he'll keep
Until the appointed day and time
when together we'll meet, and all will be fine
With all God's creatures great and small
go run and play now, have a ball
No more aches, and no more pain

Rest in peace, for now best friend

when we'll meet at the Bridge one last time
Although we'll be separated for a long time
we'll be together then and all will be fine
We'll cross Rainbow Bridge side by side

Hi Dears! I can't believe I have been chosen!
Thank you Dogster! I can see that this has lifted my mom's spirits because.....
it's only been 2 months and 7 days since mom and dad helped me cross over, ya know?
This is such an honor, dears!
I wanna say Hayy to my Rotties Rule furiends! (waving)
Oh, they are all so special! They have been so good to this "Nottie" (as we call the non rotties there, BOL) And a Special Thanks to them for accepting me for who I am and loving me so much!
And a very Special Hayy to KrackerJack, who went above and beyond to make sure I felt comfortable and welcome there.
And to all the Angels here on Dogster:
Come find me and Let's hang out! You can't miss me, I'm cheering excitedly with my pink pom poms!
I love every dog and cat here on Dogster...just like I loved every animal I ever met in life!
