A long walk to meet a stranger

So mommy took me on a long walk today.
We walked almost 3 miles through the streets, then went hiking through the woods. Mom let me off the leash for the hike.
There was a strange smell and weird footprints.
I kept looking back at mommy trying to ask her what it was but she just smiled.
Then we got back on the streets
(were I was put back on the leash. D:)
THEN I SAW IT!
I huge beast! It had four legs, a long face, and a wishing tail.
At first I stared at it and it stared back at me. But when it started moving towards me I got nervous and barked at it!
It stopped and stared at me as well as the others.
Mom shushed me. She told me it was a horse. She pet it and let me smell her hand. I decided that they were cool, a little weird but nice.
