I have many admirers. People are constantly calling my name and wanting to pet me. I do love all the attention. I love it so much that when others are petting my brother, I rush over to get in on the petting!!! :) He shares with me easily . . . He is a good brother.
After we left the park today, Miss Megan and Miss Linda came over for a visit. Trucker, Sierra, Spencer and I listened to the humans chatter and laugh at some show they were watching on the television. After the Dog Is Love event, Mr. Jamie brought over this huge television that takes up one wall of the condo. He has never returned for it, so I guess it is ours.
It sounds like we will be having more visits because of the television. Humans are easily entertained . . . Although, I have to admit I find myself watching from time to time . . . especially if there are furs and other animals on.
Tonight mom wached a show titled Dog Genius. If your humans have not seen it, BLOCK the television . . . They reveal just how smart we are. The nerve giving all our secrets away . . . I could see the wheels turning in mom's head as she watched . . . All I could think was, what is she going to have us doing next . . . Oy VEH!!

Every once in awhile I revert back to my Prima Donna image where I feel like I am above it all. Then, I quickly remember how unhappy I was in the dog ring. Our condo may not be as nice and fancy as my other home, but there is a lot of love here.
Plus, I have to admit I like being the only little girl. With my mom#1, there was my fur mom, the champion, and my sister Annie, who is quickly working her way up to being a champion. Here, I am mom's champion black rose. She says I am beautiful like a rose. The thorns are my rough edges and stubbornness. Mom working with me to overcome my insecurities and to take some of the edge off. She likes me being spunky!!! :)
Not to mention, my Hershey likes me just as I am . . . Tee Hee, blush blush . . .

Spencer and I did our thing this morning with the tracking. Mom increased the steps, so we are at a greater distance. I look to mom for direction at times. Spencer pulls right along, head down, tail wagging, and mom trailing behind trying to keep up. . . :)
This tracking stuff really makes one think and remain focused on the task at hand. I like that we have more control . . . Ha! We have the noses!!! Mis Sally said mom can't say no to us . . . only positives allowed. There is no obedience in tracking!!! I am liking it more and more!!! :)
Once we got to the dog park I tracked my way off the bench back to the pic nic table. I smelled liver treats. A lady came in with them in her pocket in a zip lock bag. I jumped up on the table and politely placed my snout in her poket. She had forgotten she had the treats. I reminded her nicely they were there "a-n-d" that I'd like a few . . . She asked mom if it was okay laughing about the situation . . . Mom said yes and thanked her for asking prior to sharing my find with me. :)
Once the bag was opened she was surrounded with furs!!! I got mine first :) It is all about me and I am not ashamed to say so . . . I am a selfish, pushy fur and proud of it!!!!
