Best Tricks:
Paavo could charm you in a split second. He also knew how to find treats around the house. He was also a very good kisser. Also, Paavo was a major drama king and could make you feel horrible about leaving him home alone! He had truly mastered this skill!

Arrival Story:
Paavo was my family's first dog, and he enjoyed his retirement years with my parents in Finland. I miss him a lot, but Florida was never the place for him. It is way too hot here for older Boxer gentlemen!

Bio:
Paavo was from a champion bloodline. He was meant to be a show dog, but he grew too big. He was sold to a family who then decided to return him to the breeder because he looked too much like their old dog that had recently passed away. We got him on Boxing Day 1994. He was 4 months old. Because he was raised by a woman breeder, he was not used to be with men. He growled at my dad for the first months. He grew out of it though, and quickly became the best of friends. Paavo passed away quietly in July 2005. He will be missed terribly by everyone who had a chance to meet him!
