To all you parents of 4 legged babies please take the time to write a diary for them because I put it off all this time and now I have to write about my Jericho that is no longer with us.
Jericho was born January 2, 2004 and left us on December 13, 2005. I done all I could to keep him here with us but it was too late. On this day he was playing with his 4 legged brother A.J. while I was getting ready for work, I could hear them running and growling like they do when I heard a yelp and it suddenly became quiet. I went to the livingroom to see which one was "telling" on the other! But this time I saw my Jericho laying in the floor, not moving. I rushed to his side and he was trying so hard to breathe. I was going to do mouth to mouth on him but when I put my hand under his neck he jerked and acted like it hurt him. My sister arrived and we wrapped him in a blanket and took him to the vet (only minutes away) but it was too late. It seems like while playing with A.J. he must have fell or got knocked off the chair and broke his neck. The vet was surprised because he looked soo healthy and was so young. We beleive he must have landed wrong or something.
For several days after his brother, A.J., was clinging to us and was lost without his big brother. I explained to him that it was an accident and not his fault.
Jericho always got under the blankets at night and kept his Daddys feet warm. Our first night was really hard, not just for Mom and Dad but also for A.J. He got under the blankets looking for him.

I will write more about Jericho's life, but for now I wanted to remind everyone to take the time now to write a diary for your pet.
I will work on A.J.'s as soon as I can and also add to Jericho's because he was one smart pug. He would ring a bell that I put on the door to let me know he needed to go out to "take care of business"

I must end this diary now and I want to do it by saying to Jericho...........
We LOVE you JarJar and miss you each day.
You will be in our hearts forever.
All our Love,
Your 2 legged Family, Mom, Dad, Joseph and Sara and your 4 legged siblings, A.J. and Kipper
