Enya's Diary

Not so Good

We are very sad to report that Enya died on July 28,2011 from complications of stomach cancer. Her last days were spent where she loved near the ocean in her green meadows. Our hearts and home are so empty with her sweet presence gone. She brought so much joy and happiness to our lives and we will miss her sweet spirit so very much.

A New Year and Lots of New Friends

WOW I didn't know writing in my diary could bring on so many new friends. This is awesome and thank you all for your good wishes.

My eye is slowly getting better and I will be able to go out and chase the deer in a couple more days. Sure do like the holidays - lots of visitors and treats on the floor.

Getting Old Isn't for Sissys!

Last month I had to have a growth removed from my lower eye lid. It really hurt, I howled the whole way home and Dad was a wreck when we got there. Mom puts drops in my eyes and pills in my food. I don't like being treated like a senior citizen.

I turned 10 on December 16th and we had a party. Mom made a special dinner for us and I got some new toys. It was great.

Then we had Christmas and I got more presents. Dad roasted a goose and he let me have a little taste, it was great! Sure do like these holiday things.

Today I went back to the Dr. because I got something in the other eye! Boy did I howl. There were two people holding me down and the vet working on my eye. She said it looked like a blackberry thorn. It really hurts. I still can't open my eye very well and noow MORE drops. It's the pits!
