Anywhere I took him. The word "walk" had to be spelled in front of him or he would get really excited and want to go outside right now!
Arrival Story:
I adopted Bear from some friends who were moving to Germany and couldn't afford to take him, his brother Peanut, or his mother Punkin (their son named Bear after the chimp on the TV show 'BJ and the Bear'). When I would visit these friends, Bear would curl up on my lap and fall asleep, so it was only natural that I became his proud "mama" when he was only 6 months old.
Bio:
As it turns out, I ended up taking Bear to Belgium with me for 3 years when my former husband and I were transferred there. Bear was with me for 14 and a half years when he started losing control of his functions. I didn't want to make the decision, but I also didn't want Bear to suffer anymore, so 3 days past his 15th birthday, Bear crossed the Rainbow Bridge. Having no children of my own, losing Bear was the toughest loss I'd ever endured. Even after 11 years, I still love and miss him very much.
