She no longer goes on long walks, but when she did we have a beautiful ocean side park that we used to walk regularly.

Arrival Story:
Lady was a rescue situation. My son visited some friends of friends and found that they'd had a litter of puppies that they were not taking care of very well. He bought her because she wasn't being treated well. We got her at approximately 4 months old.

Bio:
She is 13 years old and is just the best dog ever. When she first arrived we also had an older Golden Retriever. They turned out to be best buddies and playmates. Although the sounds they made while playing would have probably frightened off most people. They never, ever hurt each other and were the best of friends. Lady is the best children's pet I've ever seen. She is so gentle with little children and loves them. I've never worried about this dog with kids. She also is my most ardent protector and is very loyal and smart. I've done obedience work with her and she was quick to learn and still is a very obedient dog. Unfortunately she has a very bad case of hip displasia and can no longer go on long walks with me. We are doing our level best to make sure that life for this wonderful dog is as pain free as possible.
