Arrival Story:
Co-worker's sister was unable to care for dog after owning her only about 6 months. Lucy would have gone to pound had we not taken her in. We weren't sure we were going to keep her as we had difficulty bonding with her. Then two things happened to change our minds... she "protected" my husband from neighbor's dog and we realized that her tail cannot wag, thus she never looks excited about anything.

Bio:
Breeds appear to be Dachshund/Sheltie. Age is best guess, probably within a month or two. Lucy is disabled in that her tail cannot wag. We have discovered that this can make a huge difference in how other dogs respond to her. She had apparently been very abused before we rescued her, but has come a long way in her rehabilitation.
