Arrival Story:
Went to the pound looking for very young, male puppy, not black, short hair. Daughter talked hubby into looking at this older female, black, long-haired pup. As he knelt to check her out, she put her paw on his knee and licked his face. She's the best, sweetest dog in the world!! Everything we thought we didn't want, yet she's more than we could ever have hoped for!
Bio:
Breeds are best guess. Sadie has a mottled blue-black/pink tongue. Her age is also a best guess, figuring she might have been born anywhere bewtween Jan-Mar 2001. She was a stray when she found herself in jail... err... the shelter. It appears that she was well-loved and well-cared for by previous owner, although she seemed to have not had much experience with playing.
